Disclosure: Aurum is a partner of CryptoWatchdog, and the links to Aurum in this article are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We took one of the 100 beta seats for Aurum Neyro ourselves. This is an early look, not financial advice, and not a recommendation to invest. Every performance figure below is reported by Aurum and has not yet been independently verified by us. We will publish a full results review after 30 days of live testing.
Aurum has launched Neyro β a non-custodial AI trading agent platform β alongside its first live agent, Quantum Alpha. We are calling the platform Aurum Neyro throughout this piece so you know exactly what we mean.
Here is our honest take up front. Aurum has a working product and a team we have met, and we have moved real money through their existing tools without trouble. That is more than most launches in this space can say. But a clean track record on one product does not validate the numbers being quoted for a brand-new one. So we took a seat to check those numbers ourselves, and we are writing this with the scepticism a launch like this deserves.
For anyone following crypto copy trading and on-chain copy trading, the launch is worth a look because it sits where three trends meet: AI agents, smart-contract execution, and self-custody. Worth a look is not the same as worth your money. We will get to the difference.
If you are new to the project, our full Aurum Foundation review covers the team, history, fees, and how the existing Ex-Ai bot works. This post is about what is genuinely new with Neyro and Quantum Alpha.

Why this one cleared our filter
We see a lot of bot launches. Most we ignore. A few things kept Neyro on the table β and none of them is the headline return figure.
- The team is real and identifiable. We have met the Aurum founders, their identities are public, and the company has a working product (the Ex-Ai Bot) that has been running for over a year. The detail is in our full team breakdown. An anonymous team is an instant no for us; this one passed that bar.
- We have already withdrawn real money from Aurum. During our Ex-Ai Bot review we deposited around $3,000 USDT, received daily yield, and ran two test withdrawals. One cleared in roughly an hour, the other in about a day. That experience is why we were willing to spend time on the beta β not proof that Neyro will perform the same way.
- The architecture is non-custodial, at least on paper. Aurum says Neyro never holds your USDT: you sign a smart-contract permission, the agent trades inside limits you set, and you can revoke that permission yourself. We like the design. We will confirm it actually behaves that way on-chain before we vouch for it.
- A self-reported track record we have not checked. Aurum quotes +22.6% / +28.9% / +31.4% across three consecutive monthly windows for Quantum Alpha. Treat those as marketing figures, not facts. We are testing them live over the next 30 days.
- One affiliate link, the same one we use. We are an affiliate, and we are upfront about it. There is no separate VIP tier β same link, same terms for everyone{:target="_blank" rel="noopener sponsored"}.
A quick word on those returns. The CFTC has a plain-spoken warning about exactly this category: in its advisory "AI Won't Turn Trading Bots into Money Machines"{:target="_blank" rel="noopener"}, it notes that AI cannot predict the market, and that promises of high or sure-thing returns are a red flag for fraud. We are not accusing Aurum of anything. We are saying that any double-digit monthly figure, from anyone, earns scrutiny rather than trust. That is the whole reason we are running the test.
What is Aurum Neyro?
Aurum describes Neyro as a non-custodial platform for creating and copying trading agents. The pitch: combine AI-driven logic, smart-contract execution, and on-chain transparency inside one backoffice, without ever taking custody of user funds.
Aurum says it is building Neyro around three principles. These are the company's framing, summarised:
| Principle | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Non-custodial by design | Funds remain in the user's own wallet; trades are executed through smart contracts. |
| Create or copy agents | Users can follow live, high-performing agents or build personalised agents aligned with their own strategy and risk profile. |
| Structured on-chain execution | Every action follows a clear rules-based framework β transparent, trackable, and built for disciplined execution. |
If it works as described, this is a real shift from the original Aurum Ex-Ai Bot, which lived inside the centralised backoffice. Neyro pushes execution closer to the wallet layer. That is the direction a lot of people have wanted after years of custodial bots failing and taking deposits with them. Whether Neyro delivers on it is something we will judge from the test, not the brochure.

How your funds are meant to stay yours
This is the part most "AI bots" get wrong, so it is the part worth understanding before you sign anything. Here is how Aurum says Neyro works, set against a typical custodial bot. We will be checking the right-hand column on-chain during the beta.
| Stage | Custodial bot (the old way) | Neyro (non-custodial) |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding | KYC, email, password, deposit address | Wallet signature only β no email, no KYC |
| Where your USDT lives | In the platform's wallet | In your own wallet, the entire time |
| How trades execute | Platform moves funds internally | Smart contract executes a trade you've pre-authorised |
| If the platform vanishes | Your funds vanish with it | Your funds stay in your wallet |
| Exiting | Withdrawal request β manual approval β wait | Revoke contract permission β instant |
In plain terms: if it works as advertised, you are not depositing money into Aurum. You grant a smart contract a bounded, revocable permission to trade with your USDT, and the USDT itself never leaves your control. Don't like what the agent is doing? One signature ends it. This is the same token-approval mechanism that every DeFi app uses; if you want the mechanics in detail, revoke.cash has a clear primer on what token approvals are{:target="_blank" rel="noopener"} and how to revoke them.
Non-custodial is not the same as safe. A token approval is only as trustworthy as the contract you grant it to. Smart contracts can carry bugs. An over-broad approval can be abused if the contract is malicious or compromised. And a non-custodial bot can still lose money on bad trades while keeping perfect custody the whole time β those are two separate risks. Start small, with an amount you are genuinely fine losing. We will be stress-testing all of this in the 30-day review.
What you get vs what you're risking
| β What you get | β οΈ What you're risking |
|---|---|
| Full custody of your USDT at all times | Smart-contract risk (any DeFi product) |
| No KYC, no email, no registration | Trading losses if the agent underperforms |
| Access to Quantum Alpha (Aurum claims a 27.6% avg monthly track record) | Self-reported numbers we have not yet independently verified |
| One-click pause / revoke | Beta software β expect rough edges |
| One of only 100 beta seats in the first wave | Slot scarcity β may close before you sign up |
Quantum Alpha: the first live agent
Quantum Alpha is the first fully live trading agent inside Neyro. According to Aurum, it has run in live testing for three months, with these self-reported results:
- 17 Jan β 17 Feb: +22.6%
- 17 Feb β 17 Mar: +28.9%
- 17 Mar β 17 Apr: +31.4%
Aurum puts the average at 27.6% per month across that window. We want to be clear about what this is and is not. It is a figure published by the company. It is not a result we have reproduced, not a number pulled from on-chain history we can point you to, and not a promise of what your account would do. Three months is a short window, and any sample that short can flatter a strategy that simply caught a favourable market.
The SEC's investor-protection guidance puts it bluntly: it warns that high returns with little or no risk are a classic warning sign{:target="_blank" rel="noopener"}, and that every investment carries risk. We are not saying Quantum Alpha is anything like a fraud β the team and product are real. We are saying a 27.6% monthly figure should make you ask harder questions, not reach for your wallet. So that is what we are doing: running it live, on-chain, in real conditions, and reporting what we actually see.
If you want to copy Quantum Alpha during the beta window, you can activate it through our affiliate link here{:target="_blank" rel="noopener sponsored"}. Same price for you; it helps fund our independent testing. We would rather you waited for our 30-day numbers first.

How the beta works
Aurum is opening beta access to Neyro to a first wave of 100 partners. Beta users can:
- Connect their own wallet to the new Neyro section in the Aurum backoffice.
- Subscribe to Quantum Alpha and copy its live trades.
- Keep custody of their funds throughout, with trades routed through smart contracts rather than handed to a custodian.
A dedicated Neyro section appears inside the Aurum backoffice for beta users. The 100-seat cap is Aurum's framing, and scarcity is a classic nudge to sign up fast, so don't let the countdown do your thinking for you. If you do want a seat, you can register through our affiliate link: Join Aurum Neyro Beta{:target="_blank" rel="noopener sponsored"}.

How to connect your wallet & start with Neyro (step-by-step)
Aurum describes Neyro as fully non-custodial: no deposits to a company account, no KYC, no registration form. The claim is that your USDT stays in your own wallet throughout, and Quantum Alpha (or any agent you build) trades through smart contracts on the DEX layer. That is the design we are verifying.
You still need an Aurum account to reach the Neyro section, the same as Aurum's other tools. Here is the exact flow.
Create your Aurum account
Sign up via our affiliate link below. Email + password only β no KYC at this stage.
Sign up to Aurum (non-custodial) βPay the $25 annual access fee
A one-off $25 USDT license unlocks all Aurum tools β including Neyro β for 12 months. Pay it from the Aurum wallet inside the dashboard.
Open Menu β Financial Proposals β Neyro
From the top-right menu, expand Financial Proposals and tap Neyro. This is where you'll connect your DeFi wallet β not the Aurum wallet you used in step 2.
Connect a DeFi wallet on BNB Smart Chain
Neyro runs on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). In MetaMask (or your WalletConnect-compatible wallet), switch the network to BNB Smart Chain before signing β sending USDT on the wrong network is the #1 way users lose funds here. Supported wallets:
- MetaMask (browser or mobile, BNB Smart Chain selected)
- WalletConnect (any compatible mobile wallet)
- Trust Wallet works well for mobile users
The wallet signature is your login. No password, no email confirmation.
Allocate USDT and activate Quantum Alpha
Hold USDT (BEP-20) plus a small amount of BNB for gas in your connected wallet. Choose how much USDT the agent can trade with, then activate Quantum Alpha (or build your own agent). The funds never leave your wallet β Neyro just receives a smart-contract permission to route trades within the rules you set.
Pause, withdraw, or revoke the smart-contract approval any time from the dashboard. No lock-up, no support ticket.
Before you activate, you can review and tune the live signal stack the agent uses to size and time entries. The weightings below are pulled from the dashboard; what they actually do to performance is something we can only judge from results, not the labels:
| Signal | Quantum Alpha weighting* |
|---|---|
| AI Sentiment | 42% |
| Whale Activity | 10% |
| Technical Patterns | 55% |
| Smart Money flow | 85% |
| Exchange Reserves | 89% |
| Liquidity Depth | 78% |
*Weightings shown in the live dashboard at the time of writing. If you build your own agent instead of copying Quantum Alpha, you can override every one of these.
What you'll need before you click connect
- An Aurum account with the $25 license fee paid
- A funded Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or WalletConnect-compatible) on BNB Smart Chain
- A small amount of BNB for gas to sign the connection and trade approvals
- USDT (BEP-20) you are comfortable allocating β never more than you can afford to lose. New to self-custody? Read our hot wallets buyer's guide and how to spot AI-washing first.
We took one of the 100 seats β here is our test plan
We secured one of the 100 beta seats. Over the next month we are running Quantum Alpha with a small, transparent test allocation and tracking the things that actually tell you whether a bot is any good:
- Real, on-chain returns measured against the quoted 27.6% monthly average. If the live result lands well short, you will read it here.
- Drawdowns and worst-day losses. The number nobody puts in the marketing. A strategy that makes 30% and then gives back 40% is not a winner.
- Win rate, average trade size, and execution slippage. Where copy-trading quietly leaks money.
- Smart-contract behaviour. Does the system genuinely behave as a non-custodial layer, or does custody slip somewhere along the way?
- Withdrawal and disconnection flow. Can we revoke the approval and walk away cleanly, at any time, without a support ticket?
We will publish a full follow-up in around 30 days with screenshots, on-chain transaction proofs, and a plain verdict on whether the live numbers match the marketing β including if they don't. Bookmark our Trading Bots reviews hub to catch it.
Why this launch is worth watching
Most "AI crypto bots" still ask you to deposit funds into a black box and hope. If Neyro's non-custodial design holds up in practice, that would be a real improvement for the category, because it removes the single biggest failure point: the company wallet that can be drained or simply disappear.
Pair that with an agent marketplace where users can build and publish their own strategies, and Aurum is aiming at the territory occupied by tools like 3Commas and Cryptohopper, but with self-custody as the default rather than an afterthought.
The word doing the heavy lifting there is "if". A good design on a slide is not a verified product, and a three-month return figure is not a track record. That gap is exactly why we are testing this ourselves before we suggest anyone puts in more than they can lose.
Quick FAQ
Is Neyro custodial? Aurum says no β funds stay in your wallet and trades route through smart contracts via a token approval you grant. That is the design; we will verify it on-chain during the beta before we vouch for it.
Are the Aurum links here affiliate links? Yes. Aurum is a partner of CryptoWatchdog, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through our link, at no extra cost to you. We use the same link ourselves, and being an affiliate has not softened our scepticism about the unverified returns.
How many beta seats are there? 100 in the first wave, per Aurum. After that, expect a waitlist. Treat the scarcity as a marketing nudge, not a reason to rush.
How do I join the beta? Through an existing Aurum partner link. You can use ours here: Join Aurum Neyro Beta{:target="_blank" rel="noopener sponsored"}.
What is Quantum Alpha's reported performance? +22.6%, +28.9%, +31.4% across three consecutive monthly windows (JanβApr), for an average of 27.6% per month. These are self-reported by Aurum and not yet independently verified by us. The CFTC's advisory on AI trading bots{:target="_blank" rel="noopener"} is worth reading on why high return claims deserve caution.
